One of the most popular anime shows, Jujutsu Kaisen, has fans eagerly awaiting season two. All eyes are once again on Yuji and the crew following their successful transition to the big screen.
Now that Jump Festa has revealed the teaser, Studio MAPPA has given us Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 preview.
After all, one of anime’s biggest nights is marked by this annual occasion. Shonen Jump gathers its top titles under one roof to preview news for the upcoming year. This past weekend at Jump Festa, Jujutsu Kaisen performed on the main stage with other top hits including Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
Fans are naturally interested in how Jujutsu Kaisen season two will perform once it is released. So, what does the Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 preview reveal? Here is all we know.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Preview

The anime adaptation of Jujutsu Kaisen’s manga solidified itself as one of the funniest and oddest shonen anime of the present, and it showed enough promise to pique your interest in the second season.
It was just a matter of time until Jujutsu returned, especially since Jujutsu Kaisen 0 from earlier this year made an even bigger splash, given MAPPA’s increasingly full schedule.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 preview, announced at Jump Festa this weekend, will premiere in July 2023. The “Gojo’s Past” arc, which will transport us to the far-off year of 2006 and focus on a youthful Satoru Gojo (Yuichi Nakamura/Kaiji Tang) and Suguru Geto (Takahiro Sakurai/Lex Lang), will be adopted by the series for the first half of the new season.
Before a mission with Ieiri Shoko (Aya End/Ryan Bartley) sets the youthful Jujutsu three on a collision course with one Toji Zenin, this new arc will further highlight their bond. Their former history as best friends and powerful sorcerers was briefly touched upon in Kaisen 0.
An Important Note From The Author

The Jujutsu Kaisen voice cast joined Jump Festa 2023, and author Gege Akutami gave a special message. It is still being determined whether Gege Akutami was referring to the current arc or the manga itself when he said the story would be finished in a year.
The manga will end in 2023, according to information Gege Akutami provided in an initial interview published in 2021.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release Date

With the release of the new trailer, it is now known that the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen will run continuously for an entire half-year after the first season finishes with the conclusion of the Death Painting Arc.
The manga’s Gojo’s Past (Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu) and Shibuya Incident (Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu) arcs follow Satoru Gojo’s time as a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High, respectively, will both be covered in the anime.
The anime will debut in July 2023 and will be available on Crunchyroll.
