Goku and Vegeta’s upcoming action is hinted at in Dragon Ball Super chapter 88 manga spoilers. 

After August 19, the manga took a break, with chapter 87 announcing that a new arc would begin with chapter 88. Fans were understandably impatient because Chapter 87 of the series ended on a cliffhanger with some significant changes. 

The next episode of the series, “Superhero,” will occur on Earth. Teenage Goten and Trunks will be making their full manga debuts in the upcoming arc, inspired by the events of Dragon Ball Super: Superhero. 

Goku and Vegeta will concentrate on getting strong enough to face this formidable new version of Frieza.

Whis’ arrival and subsequent return of Goku and Vegeta to Planet Beerus marked the conclusion of the previous chapter.

According to the Dragon Ball Super chapter 88 manga spoilers, Goku and Beerus are refueling themselves with plenty of food by filling their faces. Vegeta is visible at the opposite end, standing to one side and gazing off in the distance with the picture of Black Frieza seemingly lodged in his head. 

Knowing the Prince, we may assume that the sudden and enormous power-up has surprised him. The two will start another rigorous training round, as with any new threat. 

Previously, Goku and Vegeta could go beyond their limit when being mentored by Whis and Beerus, respectively. When Goku had better control over the Ultra Instinct form and could summon it whenever he wanted, their training paid off. In the meantime, Vegeta developed the Ultra Ego form due to his desire to become more powerful. 

The two had a long way to catch up because Frieza had given himself ten years of training. The fact that the tyrant needed one strike to put the Saiyans out also highlights the disparity in strength.

What will happen in Chapter 88 of Dragon Ball Super?

The new Super Hero arc would begin with Chapter 88 of Dragon Ball Super, which would be released on December 20. The first image of this upcoming arc showed Goten and Trunks sporting brand-new superhero outfits. 

This is still true in Chapter 88’s rough draft pages, which hint that we shall learn what the two youngsters got up to on Earth while Goku and Vegeta were elsewhere. Now all that remains is to wait and see what might occur. 

This journey back to Earth appears to be setting up something new now that Black Frieza is a consistent antagonist in the narrative. It will be intriguing to see what the manga series might have in store for us in the future, given the course it has taken.

But one thing that stands out is that Frieza showed and remained in his new form for a split second. He may have been doing it to conserve Ki, or it’s possible that he was unable to sustain this new form for very long because it required more Ki.
